Breaking news!!! Hopefully this is a sign of the times. A more friendly United States which will help bring visitors to the USA. The U.S. House agreed Wednesday to support a new marketing campaign aimed at increasing foreign travel to the United States — a potential boon to Central Florida, which relies heavily on overseas tourists to fill its hotels and theme parks.
The measure, the Travel Promotion Act, aims to spend $200 million annually to advertise tourism to the U.S. in foreign markets. Funding for the program would come partly from the travel industry and partly from a new $10 fee paid by foreign visitors who don’t need visas.
I bet the Hotel industry is happy about this news!
